Team Ninja has released a new limited-time demo for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, allowing PS5 and Xbox Series X/S players to try the combat. A new presentation is also available, which sees the developer outlining different aspects of the game. There are also some boss fights against Lu Bu and Zhang Liang. Check it out below.

Though it seems similar, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is quite the departure from Nioh. There’s no stamina bar and more mobility thanks to a jump button (which helps to explore stages). Players can find new weapons and gear along with leveling up. However, Morale plays a big role, increasing as you defeat more enemies and decreasing when dying.

Enemies with higher Morale pose a tougher challenge, but you can farm lower Morale enemies to stand a chance and unlock more powerful Wizardry. Also, you need to manage Spirit, balancing between physical attacks and magic to avoid getting stunned by enemies. Executing counters restores Spirit while also stunning enemies, so there’s more than just hacking and slashing involved.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is out in early 2023 for Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It’s also launching on Game Pass.
