Wo Long Fallen Dynasty (6)

Nioh studio Team Ninja is clearly keeping itself busy with a number of promising projects. We were recently treated to the dazzling reveal of open world action RPG Rise of the Roninwhich will launch as a PlayStation 5 console exclusive sometime in 2024- but of course, before that, Team Ninja and publisher Koei Tecmo are going to launch another Soulslike with Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

It was confirmed not long ago that much like every other Team Ninja-developed title in recent years, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will receive a demo in the near future, and now, more details on that have landed. During its TGS 2022 stream, Koei Tecmo confirmed that the game’s demo is out today- though only for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

The demo will allow players to use the character creator, try out its online multiplayer gameplay, and of course, get a taste of some of its more crucial new mechanics, including moral choices, combat, exploration and traversal, and more. It’s also going to be a limited-time affair, running up until September 25- those who finish it before then will receive the “Crouching Dragon Helmet” special item in the full game when it launches.

Koei Tecmo has also confirmed, much like previous Team Ninja demos, Wo Long’s limited-time trial will be followed by a survey in the near future.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is out sometime in 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
