Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus Features 3 Hours of Cinematics

Story described as "very, very big undertaking".

If you thought MachineGames’ previous Wolfenstein games were crazy with their ambitions, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is on a different level.

Despite showcasing a number of cutscenes at E3 2017, creative director Jens Matthies told PCGamesN that there’s even more in store. The full game will have about three hours of cinematics overall. Matthies also described the story as “super, super ambitious, and we’re so proud of how everything’s coming together.”

Furthermore, The New Colossus sports about 100 total cast members. “We have such a huge cast [and so many] cinematics – so in terms of the storytelling it’s a very, very big undertaking. It’s something we couldn’t even attempt last time around because we didn’t have the experience.”

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus will release on October 27th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. What are your thoughts on how the game is shaping up? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information.
