Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus New Trailer Emphasizes The Game’s World

An extremely well fleshed out alternate historical world.

Machine Games will be launching their sequel to the 2014 Wolfenstein: The New Order later this year; and the title is meant to be more narratively focused than the original, also building up the original game’s fantastically realized alternate historical world with the style and flair that Bethesda’s Fallout series is known for.

And now, a brand new trailer for the game shows us more of that world that will be so emphasized in this game. Machine Games’ Jerk Gustafson and Jens Matthies both discuss the meticulously crafted game world in this new video, walking us through New Orleans, Louisiana, and Roswell, New Mexico, showing us how both the cities seem to be faring under Nazi rule.

It looks like a lot of effort has gone into making the world of the game well realized- given how fun the original game was to play, the combination should make for a killer title. Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus launches on October 27 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
