It seems Microsoft and Bethesda's upcoming E3-style event, set for next month, will reportedly be an hour and a half long.

Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase 2022

E3 isn’t coming back this year, but as was the case in 2020, companies are still going ahead with their own showcases and events to make the announcements they need to make come summer. Recently, it was confirmed that the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase would be returning in June as a full E3-style event, with announcements and updates aplenty, and now we might know a little but more about what to expect from it.

As pointed out by @IdleSloth84 over on Twitter, it looks like the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase is going to be around 90 minutes long. While that isn’t something that Microsoft has officially confirmed yet, the calendar invite on the official Xbox website adds the event as an outlook meeting with a runtime of an hour and a half, which is pretty solid indication of its length, if not concrete evidence.

And hour and a half is, more or less, around the time that Microsoft’s E3 event lasted last year, and that is roughly the ballpark that Xbox conferences generally tend to aim for. Of course, with the likes of Starfield, Redfall, Forza Motorsport, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2and who knows what in the Xbox pipeline right now, it’ll be interesting to see what showings are packed into that 90-minute event.
