Microsoft have announced that the beta period for Xbox Game Pass for PC will be ending next week, with the subscription service’s PC variant entering general availability soon. This means that the subscription price for the service will also be going up.
During its beta period, Xbox Game Pass for PC has been available at a subscription price of $4.99 per month. Starting next week though, its price will go up to $9.99 per month, which is the same price as the monthly subscription fee for Xbox Game Pass for console. That said, existing subscribers will be paying the older introductory price until the next billing cycle.
Microsoft recently also announced that EA Play, EA’s own subscription service, would be added to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for no additional cost. This means that at $14.99 per month, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will give subscribers access to Game Pass for console, Game Pass for PC, EA Play, and a subscription to Xbox Live Gold.
