In a recent video featuring content planning director at Microsoft, Joyce Lin – it has been revealed that Xbox Game Pass has added over 60+ GOTY games since the launch of the service back in 2017. Check out the video down below.

Of course, this goes without saying that the GOTY term is used in very loose context around here. Many games that fall under this category might end up being nominees for GOTY, or ended up bagging awards for very specific category at awards shows (both TGA and otherwise), and so on. But even so, this is an impressive feat on its own – and one cannot deny that there is no shortage of quality titles on the subscription service.

With Microsoft seemingly making all the right moves with the service and Game Pass being a “very, very sustainable” venture, the future is looking to be really bright for the platform. It was recently announced that Game Pass had amassed over 25 million subscribers – read more on that through here.
