In some rather unnoticed news, corporate vice president of Xbox program management Ben Kilgore has apparently left Microsoft and now works at Blizzard Entertainment as its chief technology officer. The news was excavated by journalist Superannuation on Kotaku who cited Kilgore’s Linkedin profile.

Kilgore was “Responsible for development of Xbox One client platform including operating system, development tools, and platform user experience” and is reportedly one of the chief architects of the console. He also oversaw developed of the Kinect and New Xbox Experience in early 2014 before he was promoted.

Blizzard Entertainment for its part is busy with Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft and Heroes of the Storm, both slated to release on PC. It is also reportedly working on an “unannounced game title”. Project Titan – the “Next Gen MMO” – seems to be off of the company’s website so there’s definitely several things going on at Blizzard. Stay tuned for more information on the same in the coming months.
