Microsoft has announced a $50 price cut for the Xbox One heading into E3 2016. This applies to both bundles and standalone consoles.

For instance, while the 500 GB version will cost $299, the 1 TB model will cost $319. Certain bundles that have seen a price cut include the Xbox One bundle with The Division that retails for $349 rather than $399 and the Quantum Break bundle that retails for $299. Head to the Xbox Store now to check how the price cuts shake out in your region.

The price cut comes at an interesting time with Microsoft rumoured to be working on two new Xbox One consoles – a Slim version that reportedly releases this year and a powerful upgrade with a new architecture codenamed Scorpio that’s out next year.

Thus far, there hasn’t been any official confirmation of the same, though Microsoft has been rumoured to be working on an upgraded console of some sort for a while now.
