The Xbox One, despite what many  might tell you, has actually been doing quite well recently. It’s been performing admirably as a platform for gaming and as a media box, there’s no denying that. But there’s an old saying that claims every cloud has a silver lining. It just so happens that Microsofts cloud was lined with platinum and money signs, fancy that.

Following a price cut to the Xbox One that smashed a solid $50 of the RRP in the United States, the Xbox One sales have “more than tripled”. The executive. Yusuf Mehdi has said “The response to this wave of blockbuster game releases and new bundles has been amazing, and sales have skyrocketed since the new price took effect on Nov. 2.”

Since having been announced, the price bracket has been the divisive factor for the 8th gen consoles but now that they are more or less on par, price wise, the deciding factor for most people now will be the games, which both platforms have in spades.
