Gamescom 2017 is only a few days away but Microsoft is already drumming up hype for its live event on August 20th, which takes place at 12 PM PT. Check out the teaser below and keep in mind that the show will be streamed live on Mixer, YouTube and Twitch.
Along with pre-order information on the Xbox One X, the so-called “most powerful console ever” that launches on November 7th worldwide for $499, Microsoft is also touting some world premiere trailers. The teaser saw Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, Forza Motorsport 7 and Gears of War 4. This likely translates to new gameplay trailers showcasing these games running in 4K resolution on the Xbox One X. A Day One Edition of the console is also likely to be revealed though Microsoft hasn’t confirmed the same.
As for other news, Microsoft is teasing some ReCore news which could be ReCore: Definitive Edition. Crackdown 3 will also receive some new gameplay footage at the event following its recent delay to Spring 2018. Will games like Ori and The Will of the Wisps, Sea of Thieves and so on also see new gameplay? We’ll have to wait till the event to find out.
