Xbox Series X Logo Spotted in New Trademark

Trademarked earlier this month, it lends more credence to other potential models.

Xbox Series X

Though not officially revealed by Microsoft, a trademark for the official logo of the Xbox Series X has been registered. Filed earlier this month on Justia, it consists of the word “Series” on the side of a giant “X”. Why does the “X” have spaces in between it like the Dota 2 logo? Your guess is as good as ours.

An interesting thing to note is that the “X” could be substituted for a different letter for, say, a different model. With rumors currently circulating about a May event which will see the Xbox Lockhart revealed, it’s certainly possible. But again, time will tell.

For now, the Xbox Series X is the main next-gen platform for Microsoft and it’s still slated to launch this holiday season, even with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In terms of launch titles, 343 Industries’ Halo Infinite is still on track and could receive more details and gameplay footage in the coming months. We might also hear about Playground Games’ triple A RPG, rumored to be Fable 4. Stay tuned for more details in meantime.
