Xenoblade Chronicles

Xenoblade Chronicles has emerged as something of an unexpected successful franchise for Nintendo. The games are spiritual sequels to a series that was already a spiritual sequel, and is set in huge worlds with stories of dead gods and the humans who live in their shadow. Now it’s time to revisit the game that started it all, Xenoblade Chronicles, with a Definitive Edition. This edition has lots of visual and gameplay improvements and even comes with a brand new epilogue called Future Connected. The game has been available in multiple different ways, so odds are some fans have already played through the main story one than once. But don’t worry, you can jump right into the new stuff if you desire.

Nintendo of America confirmed via their official Twitter that you can access Future Connected right off the bat. You won’t have to finish the main story to do so. So, if you are a hardcore fan who just wants to get to the new stuff, that option is there for you.

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition will launch exclusively on the Switch May 29th.
