Ys VIII Lacrimosa of Dana

Nihon Falcom’s Ys 8: Lacrimosa of Dana is out next month for PS4, PlayStation Vita and PC in the West and we’ve received a new trailer that focuses on Adol Christin. He’s been the protagonist for the series and despite being silent, has a fairly well established character. Check it out below.

In Ys 8, Adol finds himself on Seiren Island after his ship is destroyed. For some reason, he starts dreaming and seeing the world as a mysterious woman named Dana (who you’ll actually control at certain point). Adol will have other companions through Ys 8 and they can be controlled during battles for effective combat.

If you pre-purchase the game right now, you’ll receive a couple of items like Adol’s Silver Armor, Adol’s Adventurer Clothes, and Adol’s Survival Kit: Blade Ring II x1, Empty Bottle x 1, and Iron Ore x 10. Ys 8: Lacrimosa of Dana is out on September 12th for North America and September 15th in Europe.
