It sports improved visuals with a higher frame rate and resolution and includes all the previous cosmetic DLC. You get costumes, eyewear, masks and the Haute Cuisine Weapon set. Check out the launch trailer below.

As a follow-up to Ys 8: Lacrimosa of Dana, the story sees Adol Christin arrives in the prison city of Balduq. After being framed and escaping, he joins the Monstrums as the Crimson King, unleashing powerful abilities to fight back against the Lemures. The goal is to break his curse and ultimately defeat the Lemures once and for all.

While sporting the same combat as its predecessor, Ys 9: Monstrum Nox expands on the exploration with larger open regions to explore. Players can also use Monstrum Gifts to grapple, glide, wall-run, etc. Check out our official review for more details.
