miHoYo’s latest free-to-play title, Zenless Zone Zero, is now available worldwide. The hack-and-slash title is playable on iOS, Android, PS5 and PC and features a post-apocalyptic setting where humanity must survive against the Ethereals. Check out the release trailer below.
After mysterious Hollows appeared in the future, Ethereals spawned and caused the downfall of society. The survivors holed up and built New Eridu as their final bastion, but Ether, the precious material discovered in the Hollows, has proven valuable for many reasons. As a result, Hollow Raiders venture into these spaces to try and obtain the same.
The story follows Belle and Wise, a duo known as Phaethon, who act as Proxies for the various factions of New Eridu, guiding them through a Hollow’s recesses. Like the developer’s previous titles, including the recent Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero has a gacha system where players can roll for new Agents and gear.
