If the updates to Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, not to mention the recent launch of Wuthering Waves, weren’t enough, HoYoverse’s Zenless Zone Zero is out on July 4th. It will be playable on PS5, PC, iOS and Android.
Touted as an urban fantasy action RPG, Zenless Zone Zero takes place in New Eridu, a haven for the survivors of humanity. The world suffers from attacks by Ethereals, emerging from Hollows, which lead to alternate dimensions. However, there are agents with the technology to fight back, so as the Proxy, it’s your job to lead them to the Hollows and take out the Ethereals.
Agents fall into different factions, from the Cunning Hares, led by Nicole, to Belobog Heavy Industries, founded by Koleda. Zenless Zone Zero has had closed betas over the past year, with players praising the visuals, combat and music. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay leading up to its release in the coming weeks.
