Despite being announced in May 2022, there’s still an aura of mystery surrounding Zenless Zone Zero, miHoYo Games’ next action title. A closed beta starts today at 11 AM (UTC+8) for PC, iOS and Android. Everyone else can see a sleek new trailer showcasing some of the new characters. Check it out below.
Zenless Zone Zero is set in the post-apocalyptic city of New Eridu. Thanks to the Ethereals causing havoc, the rest of the world has been destroyed. It’s up to the player and various survivors, known as Proxies, to fight back. The latter are in different factions, from the Cunning Hares (to which the recently showcased Billy Kid belongs) to Belobog Heavy Industries and Victoria Housekeeping, both playable in the beta test.
Combat has seen some revamps since the last beta, and players can explore new areas like the Ballet Twins and Old Construction Site. You can also fight new bosses like the Unknown Corruption Complex and Hollow Zero. Additional testers could be added since an end date for the beta hasn’t been announced, so stay tuned.
