It may seem like yesterday when Version 1.2 dropped, but miHoYo has confirmed that Zenless Zone Zero’s Version 1.3 update, “Virtual Revenge,” is on the way. A livestream is scheduled for October 25th to outline its content, featuring characters like Lighter of the Sons of Calydon and Section 6’s Tsukishiro Yanagi (both slated to be the next limited 5-star characters).
Available for PS5, PC, iOS, and Android, Zenless Zone Zero is a hack-and-slash action RPG with rogue-lite elements. Set in the post-apocalyptic New Eridu, players control Phaethon, the hacking duo of Wise and Belle, as they venture into the Hollows for various jobs. After obtaining a mysterious AI called Fairy, their lives change in unexpected ways.
While players unlock sections of New Eridu by completing the story chapters, subsequent updates have added new locations outside of it, like the Badlands. Check out our review of the base game, and stay tuned for details on Version 1.3 in the coming days.
