Final Fantasy XV trailer

Though they don’t have a release date and we still know next to nothing about their individual plot-lines, Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts III are still two of the most wanted games in Japan according to Famitsu’s latest rankings. Both games managed to stay in the top five even in January.

They do face some stiff competition though. As of February 21st, Atlus’s Persona 5 was rated as the most wanted game while Mario Kart 8 managed to garner second place. Final Fantasy 15 is still in at third though while Kingdom Hearts III is at fifth place. Director Tetsuya Nomura famously remarked that though the reception for Kingdom Hearts III was good, they were hoping for better. It seems its continued place at fifth reflects that.

Both Final Fantasy 15 and Kingdom Hearts III are slated to arrive for the Xbox One and PS4. Stay tuned for more news and details on both titles.
