After listings for The Last of Us Remastered dropped in price on Amazon, where it was available for $50, Sony confirmed that the PSN price of the game is now also $50. However, consumers had pre-ordered the game prior to its release for $60. There was a furore caused when people weren’t sure whether they would receive refunds or not.

VP of Publisher & Developer Relations at PlayStation Adam Boyes did confirm that, despite some retailers denying refunds, you would indeed be refunded the remaining $10 if you already pre-ordered the game. “You should get a $10 refund in the next 5-7 days,” according to Boyes.

The Last of Us Remastered will be out on July 29th for the PS4 and offers significant visual upgrades over the PS3 version. It will include all previously released DLC including the Left Behind single-player DLC and Grounded multiplayer content. Are you looking forward to the same? Let us know in the comments below.
