Where do we even begin with Route E in the NieR Replicant remaster? Not only do you get to play as Kaine, who’s pretty strong in her own right, but you encounter the Administrator Twins (who share the same voice actors as 2B and 9S from NieR: Automata) and reunite with Emil. Next is a battle to restore Nier’s presence, delving into a virtual environment and battling Shades from your journey including Gretel and Hook. Just when things seem dire, who else but Grimoire Weiss should appear to lend a hand. Everything about this final encounter was simply incredible and a fantastic pay-off for fans who craved a happy resolution for Kaine, Nier and Emil.
