7. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Pizza loving ninja turtles is probably the single greatest idea for a kid's cartoon show ever made, and it certainly stood out as an important part of the childhood of everyone who grew up in the 90s. The NES game of the show also stood out, largely for its unflinching difficulty. That's not to say it wasn't a well crafted game though for, despite the leniency and quality of its two arcade sequels, this is the one that will be most remembered by series fans.
