8. Pokemon Yellow
Pokemon Yellow was basically Red and Blue, albeit with a few extra bits added from the Pokemon TV show. Jesse and James showed up from Team Rocket, Pikachu followed the player around because he refused to stay in his Pokeball; that sort of stuff. Despite how minor these additions were, it still added a huge amount of flavour to the already intense Pokemon universe, and it made it feel like a worthy addition indeed. Though the original games were their own, Yellow was the product of the TV show, and it was all the stronger for it.
