6. Xbox 360
This old man has been around the block a few times. Released way back in the hay days of November 2005, this console is a pretty good investment now. With most of the kinks worked out that would cause the dread Red Ring of Death and a new Xbox360 mini on its way it might be a good time to pick one up. This console has a great collection of games just like the PS3 and in many cases even share the same titles. Xbox Live arcade is also getting some great new games like "State of Decay." A new slim is a probably a bit more expensive than the old “fat” ones, but you can find one of those on sale easily enough. It’s still a good deal and with a library of games to keep you busy until the next generation of consoles I doubt you’ll find yourself bored for too long with a 360.
