CONCRETE GENIE
Sony’s first party output has been a constant stream of one mega blockbuster after another, so it was refreshing to see them taking a break from that routine with PixelOpus’ Concrete Genie. Not just because it was a smaller game, but also became it felt unique and fresh, like it dared to do something that games don’t do much of these days- try new things. Concrete Genie is certainly not without issues, but it’s absolutely worth playing, thanks to some beautiful art design, engaging exploration in diverse environments, and a charming and whimsical story.
