BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT – THE BATMOBILE
It didn’t take long after Batman: Arkham City allowed players to experience a fully realized open world Batman game that everyone started asking for its sequel to have the Batmobile. We wistfully imagined how fun and exciting it would be to drive through the streets of Gotham City in the Batmobile, and Rocksteady listened. Batman: Arkham Knight made the Batmobile its headlining feature, but in a cruel twist of fate, it also turned out to be one of the game’s worst aspects. To be fair, the Batmobile itself feels incredible to drive, and it is a lot of fun barreling through the streets of Gotham. But the vehicle is also central to excessive, inane, and unenjoyable tank combat sections and forced driving challenges that do bring down the experience quite a bit.
