Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut
Ghost of Tsushima was a game that was well out of the developer’s comfort zone, but the immaculate execution of those ideas and the beautiful world where it all goes down makes it one of the best open-world games of this generation. Jin Sakai’s tale of freeing his hometown from the wrath of the Mongols is pretty captivating, but you would be hard-pressed to not fall into the temptation of just leaving it all aside and exploring the island.
There are several side activities to pursue, ranging from liberating villages to finding secrets and taking part in the many Mythic tales peppered throughout the region. The world is serene and rih in culture – making it a perfect backdrop where you can just stop and smell the roses. Activities like meditation and writing Haikus really bring out the best of this world, and it also helps that all of this is quite rewarding.
