Imagine a person suing Nintendo for having stolen their likeness to create a… Pokemon. No, really. It really happened. Magician-slash-illusionist Uri Geller sued Nintendo for having stolen his identity to create the Pokemon Kadabra, who, as you might know, carries spoons around and has telekinetic abilities (Geller does spoon stuff as well). Bafflingly enough, the two parties still haven’t reached an agreement, and as a result of this, Nintendo haven’t used the image of Kadabra on a Pokemon Trading Card since 2003.
