Silent Hill Remake
Some entries on this list seek to offer updated visuals and higher fidelity for established classics. However, it’s interesting to see how Codeless Studio uses the engine to recreate Silent Hill. The foggy atmosphere and surroundings coupled with more subdued textures and shadows look to retain the original’s feel. It still utilizes features like dynamic lighting to great effect though, as seen in the dark alley with the broken wheelchair and Harry Mason’s revamped appearance. Like Metal Gear Solid, a remake or new entry for Silent Hill seems a ways off but seeing projects like this helps make the wait a little more bearable.
