To say that fans have been clamoring for remakes in the Metal Gear Solid series would be an understatement. Rumors claim that Metal Gear Solid 3 is getting the remake treatment courtesy of Virtuos but in the meantime, Just an Idea Studio looked to recreate the first game’s opening in Unreal Engine 5. For as basic as the gameplay looks, the starting Tank Hangar is presented fairly well with its dynamic lighting, shadows and textures. If nothing else, this looks more faithful than The Twin Snakes and that’s really all one could ask for.
