This is one you’ve probably heard of. Two Japanese gamers took on the challenge of finishing Super Mario 64 in particularly bizarre fashion, in what was called the Green Demon Challenge. Essentially, you activate a 1-up mushroom, and as soon as it starts following you around (which it does at a pretty quick pace), you try and collect all the red coins and the stars in a level before the mushroom touches you. It’s stupidly pointless, so of course, it’s also a buttload of fun- especially if you’re watching it, and not playing it.
