Tunic
Inspired by the Legend of Zelda series, Tunic is a vibrant isometric adventure game featuring the adventures of a cute anthropomorphic fox. Acquiring new items and abilities is essential to unlocking new areas of the map, as with the convention of the franchise that inspired it. Interestingly, the game features dialogue in a made-up language represented largely by pictographs, and treasure chests can sometimes contain pieces of the game’s “instruction manual”, containing directions for such things as how to utilize certain techniques. It sounds immensely rewarding for people who play it for the first time, encouraging no spoilers and a fresh pair of eyes.
