Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Much like how David Hayter was the voice of Solid Snake and Big Boss, Michael Ironside was Sam Fisher, plain and simple. So when Eric Johnson replaced him in Splinter Cell: Blacklist – after Ironside’s portrayal as a gritty determined father looking to avenge his daughter – it came off as little more than a budget Bourne characterization. Sam was younger and that air of fatherly frailty was just missing. Blame it on the material that Johnson had to work with, we suppose.
