Kiefer Sutherland – Metal Gear Solid 5

For decades, David Hayter was the man behind Snake. It only made sense – who else could pull off the inflection and tone of the legend, especially when the script went bonkers? According to Hideo Kojima, it would be Kiefer Sutherland – Hayter was replaced by Sutherland for Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain. Sutherland’s performance was decent…whenever he actually spoke. Due to the game’s disjointed narrative, the 24 actor never really had much to work with. Maybe it was a clever commentary on speech and language or something? Only Kojima knows.
