In a case of “Well, what kind of superhero do you prefer”, Jason Cottle was replaced by Eric Ladin as the voice of Cole MacGrath for inFamous 2. Cottle’s performance gained traction simply because it matched Cole’s character, that of a gruff cynical new hero that was trying to make sense of things. InFamous 2 saw Ladin bring a more down-to-earth, warmer rendition to Cole to fit his change of attitude. The jury’s out on which you prefer but there are more than a few people who hated the shift in Cole’s character, right down to the VA change.
