Like Dark Souls 3, Bloodborne also offers great boss fights and an incredible aesthetic. However, where it excels is in its lore, as players explore Yharnam and learn about its downfall at the hands of the Great Ones. Combat is also a great departure from the Souls series, rewarding aggression while presenting many new options. This interconnected world of horrors may be overwhelming at first but it’s hold on players is undeniable.
