Like Harry Potter, Danganronpa is another series we feel is perfectly suited to the Persona template (yes, we really like Persona, in case you hadn’t caught on). Though it’s a visual novel, you’re already following a similar day-to-day structure, growing your friendships and relationships with other characters through similar interactions, while the larger structure Danganronpa’s stories usually take are also not too different from Persona. All we need is combat, some exploration, and RPG mechanics, and we end up with a perfect Persona competitor.
