Nier: Automata directly follows the events of Nier‘s fourth ending and it only gets crazier from there. There are a total of 26 different endings to unlock and they trigger from performing – or not performing – specific actions. Like Nier, some endings unlock after multiple playthroughs of the game and even from unlocking two variant endings.
