I’m not saying the soldiers of Just Cause 3 need to be smart. I’m not saying they need to have the elite intelligence of well-trained soldiers. But Rico’s ability to steamroll through hordes of foes is pretty reliant on their lack of survival instinct. This isn’t to say that NPCs in general are any better – for example, destroy a bridge and watch as the AI drives off of it, like nothing is wrong. It’s a real hoot.
