In Horizon, you’ll find “ancient vessels” which are essentially coffee cups from the bygone era. Naturally you’d expect some reference to something there and you’d be correct – the KZ ancient vessel has the image of a Helghast soldier on it. The description notes the “red eyed visage” which is a trademark of the Helghast Army before informing you that it can be traded in. Neat! Now if only there was something in Horizon that could explain the ending of Killzone 3.
