DOOM 2016

DOOM made it clear from the very beginning that it was about goring demons, and less about the story, but the story was there just below the surface for anyone who cared to look. When players finished off the Spider Mastermind and sealed off the rift that was spilling demons from Hell to Mars, the robotic Dr. Hayden turned on the DOOM marine and sealed him hopelessly within hell, unless he was needed again. With the rest of the game being that thought through, the lame sequel bait left us wanting to rip and tear.
