65. Quantum Break

Quantum Break

Remedy Entertainment returns to the AAA fold with Quantum Break and unlike Alan Wake, this one actually looks like it’ll live up to the hype. Forgot the TV series angle for a minute and watch the gameplay for Quantum Break. If the manipulation of time and its utilization in varying scenarios doesn’t at least intrigue, then clearly you’re lying to yourself.

Even with the TV series angle – which sees you watching the villain Paul Serene be his dastardly – Quantum Break looks like an new-age action adventure title but with a classic twist. You can stop time to benefit yourself in various situations and goddamn if launching a car into some one’s face using time isn’t awesome. There’s still so much we don’t know about the game but there’s enough showcased to have us invested and make it one of our top titles to look forward to in 2015.
