Fable Legends

Fable Legends

Let’s be honest: the first Fable was underwhelming, especially considering the levels to which it was hyped by creator Peter Molyneux. The sequel was a solid and compelling RPG that actually netted a few awards from major publications. it was all downhill from there though. Fable 3 sucked. Fable: The Journey sucked. Fable: The Lost Chapters was an example of remaking one of the lowest points of your franchise rather than the highest.

This is why we’re happy about Fable Legends, an action RPG co-op game that will see you and three other heroes team up to battle a villain and his army of creatures. The game’s style looks fresh, the combat is compelling and the mechanics of controlling a villain and making missions a nightmare for the heroes – or simply pulling through with your friends to overcome the villain – should make for plenty of replay value.

Even better, you can play the game entirely by yourself. Take on the role of a hero and fight alongside AI sidekicks or simply oppose AI enemies as the villain. If you’ve ever wanted a current take on Dungeons & Dragons, then Fable Legends is shaping up to be pretty good.
