As if Runners, Clickers, and Bloaters weren’t horrifying enough, Naughty Dog originally planned on including various infected animals in The Last of Us as well. Most notably, one of these was going to be an infected elephant, which… yeah, that just sounds like a nightmare (and a horror goldmine). That did not make it into the final game, of course, but there’s quite a few The Last of Us fans out there who surely would have liked to see that come to fruition.
