inFamous Second Son – Particle Effects
inFamous: Second Son is an amazingly gorgeous looking game, and nowhere is this more evident than when you use all your fancy new powers, with all the flashes and dynamic lighting and shadow changes they cause. Most importantly, inFamous: Second Son pulls of the minutiae of its particle effects off particularly well, to give us an image on screen that’s just jaw droppingly beautiful. Check out the video above, if you don’t believe me- Sucker Punch’s game is a labor of love, and nowhere is this more evident than when you use your powers as Delsin. The sheer graphical fidelity of what follows on screen is enough to make you take pause and actually allow yourself to believe that yes, yes this version of Seattle that Sucker Punch has created is real, and Delsin and his powers, those are real too.
