Witcher 3 – Immersive Environments
What CD Projekt RED are achieving with The Wticher 3: Wild Hunt is absolutely amazing. The game, much like Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, looks stunning, and the fact that it is achieving this level of graphical fidelity across a massive open world makes it all the more impressive.
But of course, CD Projekt RED don’t have a choice here- the last game in the series, The Witcher 2, was graphically amazing when it released, and of course, any fantasy world is only as good as it is believable, and it is important that the world of Witcher 3 appear believable for its story to have an impact. The lush and immersive environments that they have constructed and achieved for the game, therefore, are truly something that simply could not have been done on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
