FALLOUT 4
We’ll stick a little longer with post-apocalyptic versions of real-world locations in games, because we obviously have to mention Fallout here. Specifically, we’re talking about Fallout 4’s Commonwealth, which takes players to the blasted post-nuclear remains of Boston and several other parts of New England. It’s always a joy to immerse ourselves in Fallout’s blend of retro sci-fi and post-apocalypse, while Bethesda also obviously has a knack for crafting incredible open worlds with a ton of systemic depth, all of which is very much true in Fallout 4 as well.
