THE INIQUITIES OF HISTORY
“The Iniquities of History” is a two-part questline about a man named Jeremiah Compson, who used to have everything in life, but is now little more than a homeless man struggling to survive. At first, when Arthur agrees to go to his old home which was repossessed by the bank to collect some of his valued belongings, you can’t help but pity Jeremiah. Eventually, when Arthur gets to his home, he discovers that Compson used to be a slaver and used to inhumanly keep people chained in his basement. The realization of what he actually means when he’s talking about having lost everything thanks to how the world has changed is horrifying, and Arthur’s final confrontation with Compson is incredibly tense.
