Along with standing on its tail just out of reach before attacking the player, it can also swim around on its back, opening shells with different effects. Its main strategy is lulling the player to sleep, either with darts or with a spray, before following up with a powerful dive. Though unpredictable at first, Somnacanth’s tactics are easy to pick up on while still offering a decent challenge.
